Please enter your University Account Username and Activation Key to activate your account. This information was included in an initial notification email from the University of Pittsburgh Technology Help Desk which was sent to the email address you provided in your application.
If you cannot find the notification email, please check your spam, junk or other filters. The email was sent by ‘Technology Help Desk’ with the subject line ‘Accessing Your University of Pittsburgh Account’.
If you still cannot find the notification email, please contact the Technology Help Desk at 412-624-HELP .

The confirmation email contains a key that you must copy and paste below to continue the account activation process.

Step 4 Accept University Technology User Policy
University policy establishes restrictions regarding the access and use of University technology resources such as computers, computer systems, networks, services, storage, and email.
Students, faculty and staff are obligated to protect University computing systems from illegal or damaging actions, either knowingly or unknowingly.
The following are considered improper use of University owned computing equipment, networks, services, and resources:
University policy also includes more information such as defining who may have access to technology resources, the ownership of email for employees, how to report violations, and outlines the disciplinary action which can result from violations.

Step 5 Password Reset Challenge Questions
If at any time you forget your University Computing Account password, you can reset it online. In order to do so, you must first select three security questions and answers that will be used to confirm your identity.
